The pavilion is conceived as a sequence of sheltered rooms between the trees. Its roof line follows the canopy and leaves the central clearing open to public use.

Board-marked concrete and translucent glass keep the building direct and robust. The galleries receive even north light while service spaces form a quiet edge to the park.
